ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN TEKNIK DASAR PERMAINAN BOLA VOLI PADA MAHASISWA PRODI PENDIDIKAN JASMANI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MAHAKARYA ACEH

Abstract

This study entitled “Analysis of Basic Technical Skills in Volleyball Games Among Students of the Physical Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh University” aims to determine the level of volleyball playing skills of students in the Physical Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh University. This research employed a descriptive method. The population of this study consisted of all fourth-semester students of the Physical Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh University, totaling 23 students. The instrument used in this study was a basic volleyball skills test, which included three test items: (1) service test, (2) passing test, and (3) smash test. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques. The results of data analysis showed that the average score of volleyball playing skills among all fourth-semester students of the Physical Education Study Program at Muhammadiyah Mahakarya Aceh University was 52.13%, which fell into the good category. Meanwhile, 29.25% of students were classified in the very good category, and 18.62% were in the moderate category. These results indicate that most students’ volleyball techniques are still not optimal; therefore, further efforts are needed to improve their skills in order to achieve optimal performance in volleyball
