Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the extent of the influence of competent human resources in the organization. This research discusses in more detail training and learning within the organization on employee performance. This research is based on an in-depth study of employee training and learning literature on human resource performance. This research was conducted at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Lampung in April 2018. There are two independent variables, namely training and learning and one dependent variable, namely employee performance in this research. This research is in the form of a theoretical framework which aims to assist further research regarding the role of training and learning in improving employee performance. In this research, training and learning are the keys to the success of companies that implement them to improve employee performance. The training and learning applied in the literature in this study states that employee training has a good impact on the company's sustainability and good name in the eyes of its competitors. The training that can be carried out by companies is not only limited to training on personal potential but also training in managing emotions. The learning carried out by the company emphasizes understanding and knowledge for its employees. This research provides the view that appropriate training and learning will have a positive impact on the sustainability of the company.
